This Fall, The Valle Catholic Schools Foundation gifted two new AED machines in response to a Valle administrator request. Principal Greg Miller submitted the request stating, “we have three existing AED’s located in the gym, church, and the field house, however, we would like to provide safety in the DuBourg Centre and middle school.” The Foundation eagerly accepted the request, gifting two Phillips HeartStart OnSite AED machines to Valle Schools.

Each device provides automatic voice prompts and CPR coaching to help guide those responding. As Principal Miller said, “our staff receives AED and CPR training regularly, and having these devices will help us better monitor the situation.” The Foundation also provided additional items including two wall mounted cases for easy access and two large graphic signs indicating where each machine is located.

While the hope remains that there will never be a reason to use these machines, all who step onto the Valle Schools campus can take comfort in knowing every building is now equipped to provide emergency care. Through diligence of the administration and support of the Foundation, the Valle Catholic campus continues to ensure safety for the students, faculty, and Valle community.
