2022 Scholarship Winners Announced

On May 11, four Valle Catholic seniors were presented scholarships through the Valle Catholic Schools Foundation for their scholastic and community achievements.

Gail Gegg Valle Girl Memorial Scholarship
Established by Mr. Bernard Rosenberg, Mrs. Gegg-Rosenberg’s husband, this scholarship is awarded to a female Valle senior who embodies Mrs. Gegg-Rosenberg’s positive efforts and who wishes to create their own positive change in tomorrow’s world.

Awarded to: Camryn Basler

Camryn has been actively involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, and the Student Ambassador program in addition to volunteering for local events and participating in the aftercare program at Valle Schools. She has also maintained being in the Top 10 of her class for the past four years. Camryn plans to attend Missouri State University and focus her studies on Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Pathology.

Ingenuity Scholarship
Endowed by an anonymous donor, this scholarship was designed by a young engineer looking to give back to individuals with strong academic achievements and focused on studies in an Engineering, Science, Math, Computer Science, or technical trade program.

Awarded to: Olivia Linderer

Olivia has maintained high honors during her school career, while participating in extracurriculars to include Student Council, softball, volleyball, and the Student Ambassador program. She is also actively involved in volunteering for local community events and her three jobs. Olivia plans to attend State Technical College of Missouri and major in Radiologic Technology.

Louis G. & Rosemary E. Roth Scholarship
Created by Elizabeth Roth (class of 1969) as a way to honor her late parents, this scholarship is focused on Valle seniors who demonstrate strong community involvement while upholding strong academic achievements.

Awarded to: Isabelle Fallert and Luke McClure

Isabelle has been actively involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, volleyball, track, and dance, while being in the Top 10 of her class every year.  She has also actively participated with St. Vincent de Paul events, tutoring, and community outreach at local nursing homes. Isabelle will attend Mizzou and focus studies on Architectural Engineering or Fashion Design and Marketing with a minor in Business.

Luke McClure has maintained high scholastic achievements during his school career in addition to being a part of National Honor Society and the Student Ambassador program. In addition to academic and extracurricular achievements, he has also maintained an active role in volunteering though various school and community events. Luke plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University.
